Mēdallion Cardiovascular is a private, invitation-preferred practice offering strategic cardiovascular risk assessment and long-term oversight to a deliberately limited number of individuals. We do not perform procedures. We prevent the need for them.
Request ConsiderationEstablished 2024. Built by surgeons who learned the cost of late discovery.
"We spent a decade operating on disease that should never have reached the operating table."
Mēdallion Cardiovascular was founded in 2024 on a single conviction: that advanced cardiovascular disease is rarely sudden, and almost never inevitable. What appears catastrophic to most physicians was, in nearly every case we encountered in the OR, years in the making — and years visible, had anyone been looking carefully enough.
We see fewer patients by design. Not because of capacity, but because the kind of oversight we provide cannot be delivered at volume. Every relationship we accept is a long-term strategic commitment. We do not perform procedures. We architect the conditions under which procedures become unnecessary.
Dr. Kleisli spent over a decade as a practicing cardiothoracic surgeon before co-founding Mēdallion Cardiovascular. His experience operating on the consequences of unmanaged risk sharpened a conviction that the most valuable contribution a surgeon can offer is not a procedure — it is the foresight that makes one unnecessary.
His approach to cardiovascular oversight is methodical, evidence-driven, and unsparing in its honesty. He considers it a privilege to be entrusted with a patient's trajectory — and takes that trust seriously.
Dr. Fratello brings to Mēdallion Cardiovascular a subspecialty perspective on the ways cardiovascular disease presents differently across sex, hormonal stage, and life context — dimensions that are routinely overlooked in standard executive health programs.
Her oversight is characterized by precision and candor. She believes that genuine cardiovascular protection requires knowing a patient deeply over time — their biology, their history, and their risk tolerance. She designed Mēdallion's approach to women's cardiovascular health around that belief.
Our work is not reactive medicine. It is a proactive, data-driven architecture of cardiovascular oversight — built around each member's unique biology, risk trajectory, and life context. We coordinate diagnostics, interpret findings at the highest clinical level, and translate complexity into a clear plan.
We begin with a comprehensive cardiovascular risk architecture — advanced biomarkers, imaging, metabolic profiling, and family history — interpreted through the lens of surgeons who have seen end-stage disease firsthand.
We track each member's cardiovascular trajectory over years, not visits. As data accumulates, our ability to intervene early becomes increasingly precise. Institutional memory is what separates oversight from observation.
When decisions arise — whether a concerning finding, a specialist recommendation, or a potential procedure — we serve as the highest-level decision authority. We know what is necessary, what is premature, and what can be avoided entirely.
Mēdallion Cardiovascular maintains a deliberately limited membership. We do not accept patients whose needs are better served elsewhere, and we are candid when that is the case. The individuals we work with share a common orientation: they understand that cardiovascular risk is not a medical problem to be handed off — it is a long-term strategic position to be managed.
They are not looking for more access to a doctor. They are looking for a different quality of oversight entirely.
Membership at Mēdallion Cardiovascular is an annual commitment and is not available on demand. All enrollment is preceded by a qualification process. We do not publish pricing publicly — fee structures are discussed directly with prospective members whose applications have been reviewed.
"We accept fewer than 75 member households. This is not a marketing position. It is a clinical one. The quality of oversight we provide is inseparable from the depth of attention we can give. We will not expand beyond what allows us to do this work with integrity."
